The MFNB201 Gundam kit is built to turn the NB from a modified road car into a proper low-style drift car.

Designed and developed over two years, the Gundam kit sharpens the NB’s soft factory lines into something that looks intentional at full lock, sits right with wide wheels and aggressive alignment, and feels at home on track, not just in a car park. Built for drivers who actually use their cars — and want them to look like it.

Fitment & what to expect

This is a handmade fiberglass aero kit, designed for 20+ year old Mazda MX5 NBs.
Because no two cars are exactly the same, a small amount of adjustment should be expected — this is normal for aftermarket aero and part of fitting a kit properly.

Fitment across the kit is very good when installed correctly:

Front bumper: Fits extremely well and often pops on as nicely — if not better — than OEM
Side skirts: Fit cleanly; may benefit from pop rivets or a small amount of Tiger Seal near the top of the wing for a perfect finish
Rear bumper:
- Uses OEM screws around the lights, or can be drilled for the plate recess
- Designed for import-size number plates only (no UK / EU recess)
- Boot lock deleted for a cleaner, motorsport-style rear

This kit is best suited to buyers who are familiar with fitting aero, or who plan to have the kit installed by a body shop. If you’ve built cars before, nothing here will come as a surprise.

Installation & finish

The MFNB201 Gundam kit is supplied in white gel coat and is unpainted.
As with all fiberglass aero, normal preparation is required before paint.

Light surface marks or minor imperfections are normal prior to prep
The kit will require sanding, priming, and painting to achieve a final finish
This is not a second-hand part — it is a handmade motorsport-style component

While experienced home builders will be comfortable installing this kit, professional installation is recommended for the best possible fit and finish.

The NB Gundam Aero Kit is made to order.

Each kit is built by hand in small batches, which means production time can vary depending on workload. Please allow up to 10 weeks, for your kit to be completed, followed by shipping time.
